Biography

Samuel V. Franco has over 20 years of experience at some of the world’s most recognizable multimedia companies playing an integral part in spearheading revenue growth, overseeing content development and production, directing marketing campaigns, creating brand identities, supervising business operations, and negotiating deals.

He is a well-respected creator of high-end content and has a demonstrated history of successfully packaging and selling material for film, TV, radio, and print, and is skilled at identifying and securing intellectual property and developing original programming.

Prior to launching Franco 4 Entertainment, Samuel was Vice President of Business Operations at CBS Television where he oversaw the day-to-day management of the #1 rated show on broadcast television, The Price Is Right. He has further worked in Strategic Planning & Creative Development at Paramount Pictures, overseen National Branding, Marketing, and Promotions for CBS Radio, directed Studio Operations & Business Development at Dream Magic Studios, and created the first-ever Howard Stern advertising campaign, “Stern Warning” (for which is also coined the phrase).

Samuel graduated, with honors, from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and also spent time studying at the Film & TV Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague, at Binghamton University, Cape Cod Community College, and at Jerusalem Bible College. After graduating, he worked as a Story Assistant for investigative journalist Mike Wallace at CBS News’ 60 Minutes, before going on to work as a Research Writer for The Charlie Rose Show.

Samuel is an active member of the Writers Guild of America where he sits on the Board of Directors for the Middle Eastern Writer’s Committee. He is the creator of Cinemania, the Jacob Burns Film Center’s after-school visual literacy program, which has been running for over 20 years. He serves on the boards of various charitable, philanthropic, and non-profit organizations.
